Peoples History of The Baldwins
Since their inception on a cold January evening in 2007, The Baldwins have been performing long-form improvisational comedy. In 2010, they moved from their weekly Wednesday night slot to the Striker stage Saturday night,
as one of the premiere house teams at the Peoples Improv Theater (aka The PIT) in New York City.
And in December of 2017, The Baldwins got their own comedy hour in The PIT Underground.
The Baldwins have performed at the Boston Improv Festival, the 2nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Comedy Smorgasbord,
Philadelphia Improv Theater, Columbia University and The Living Room Show.
They have performed with long-running improv horror show, Dr. Oddbody.
Individually, The Baldwins are: Amanda, Chris, Danielia, Kevin, Meg, Micah, Pat, Rich and Sarah.
Collectively, they are: improv coaches and teachers, comics, writers, actors, producers, directors, grips, best boys, inspired songwriters, award-winning stand-up comics, ECNY-nominated sketch writers, deliciously-talented bakers, promotion-earning secretaries, under-earning event planners, skillful ukulele players, disgruntled publishers, celebrated mommies, unknown daddies (DNA test pending), children of God, dreamers, lovers, voters, protesters, singers, dancers,
and all-around model citizens and funny people.
